Nowadays, we are seeing an increase in the number of websites that are providing push notification services, this is because of the fact that visitors are excited about knowing the Hotdeals, News, and category their interests. Also, advertiser or marketer are always interested in trying out new available products in the market to reach their audience.

Push notifications provides the convenient way to update their visitors who opted in to receive notifications in web browser




Mainly, users see a notification as a banner or pop-up alert as they are using mobiles. This alert is shown no matter what the user is doing.

Limitation:

  • Now, the biggest challenge is how many visitors are going to opt-in for the push notifications, because visitors are interested only top brands.
  • The visitors may opt-out if the advertisers don't provide valuable offers.
  • The online shopping websites offer deals not very frequently.
  • This isn't applicable for the different verticals

Success rate:

The success rate is high for Mobile when compared to the Desktop and advertiser are seeing good results with high conversion rates.
