What is the future of ad blocker?

In the today's world, the internet is important in our daily life because it provides instant access to vast information in very short time. Many websites are providing the information or services for free. Have you ever wonder, why this information is available for free? and what is the basic need that is encouraging writers to publish online

Writers earn money by publishing their articles on the websites and websites earn money by placing the ads. In this way, users or visitors are seeking the information for free or writers are encouraged to write the articles.

After the invent of Adblocker, writers are discouraged to write the information because Adblockers blocks the ads on the websites which is affecting the websites and writers business. When the websites don't earn money, they cannot afford to pay the writers.

The Adblocker companies have become a big evil for the online advertising industry as the AdTech companies started losing millions of dollars every year. The use of Adblockers are exponentially increasing and currently, there are around 20 million users are actively using the Adblockers and the number is still growing.

In the year 2015, over $22 billion dollars have lost advertising revenue because of the Ad blocker. It is expected to lose $40 billion dollars in the year 2016. This is a big blow for the advertising companies like Google, Yahoo, Microsoft etc,.

To workaround this and save the writers and websites, Adblocker companies come up with acceptable ads, which means providing the better way serving the ads instead of annoying and intrusive ads and better user experience.

Adblockers allow the acceptable ads to show them on the websites even though the Adblocker have been installed in the user's browser. The Adblocker users still have the option to block the ads showing on the websites by filtering.

By allowing the ads, Adblockers are making profits from the AdTech companies by sharing their revenue meaning that AdTech companies will pay the certain amount of revenue that they earn through advertising to the Adblocker companies.

If the Adtech companies have refused to pay the revenue to the Adblockers still continue to block their ads to show on the websites. In this scenarios, websites are requesting their website visitors to whitelist them or disable the Adblocker, this is done to keep their website active and continue to provide free service to the visitors.

To protect the website visitors user experience, major Ad tech companies have their own creative audit teams, where they review the ad banners and websites, for avoiding harm to the user experience.

In this way, the writers are encouraged to write the articles and websites making the monetizing the websites.
